Genuine Ottoman Star of Gallipoli medal in good condition, has a small dent on the right side of the enamel, manufactured by B.B & Co (German company).The Ottoman War Medal was a military decoration awarded by the Ottoman Empire. It was commonly known in English as the Gallipoli Star. It was established by Sultan Mehmed V on March 1, 1915, for bravery in battle. This decoration was awarded during World War I to Ottoman troops and other forces of the Central Powers, primarily in Ottoman theaters of engagement.
